Band

Let's get the fingers, lips, mouth, and musical notes moving!  The daily schedule for ChiArts Band Camp includes full ensemble rehearsals, instrument-specific sectionals, chamber music, and a special "Daily Break Out" period when we explore different musical styles and skills.  Come hone your skills with our instructors who have extensive experience as both performers and teachers.  Band campers will present a culminating concert for family, friends and fans on July 28th - the last day of camp. 

We currently accept students who play the following instruments:

• flute
• oboe
• clarinet
• bassoon
• saxophone
• trumpet
• French horn
• trombone
• baritone
• tuba
• percussion

Students signing up for the band program must have a minimum of one year of experience with their instrument.  Students can be as young as fourth grade (rising for the following school year) to participate.   This is the one ChiArts Summer Camp program for which we accept students of elementary age.
